JOB TITLE - RN - ER

PAY RAT - $70 - $75/HOUR
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Registrar to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, utilizing their skills in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and occupational health settings. Duties:
The Emergency Department Registrar will be responsible for providing medical care to patients of all ages, from routine visits to emergency situations. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans
- Providing care to patients with a range of conditions, including those with ostomies
- Performing routine medical procedures, such as specimen collection and processing
- Managing airway and respiratory issues
- Collaborating with occupational health professionals to provide care to workers
- Providing family planning services and counseling
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
Experience:
Applicants should have experience in emergency department settings, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care facility. A background in occupational health is also advantageous. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. A strong foundation in medical care, including experience in airway management and specimen collection processing, is essential for this role.
