JOB DETAILS
Position - RN Med/Surg
Location - Summit, NJ
Shift - 12 hours Day/Night
Contract - 13 weeks
Pay Range - $70/hr - $73/hr

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform routine medical tests and procedures, including mammography.
• Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures and assist with lab tests.
• Monitor patient vital signs and notify physicians of any changes.
• Manage patient pain and discomfort through effective pain management strategies.
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records to document patient care and update medical histories.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Med/Surg Unit
• Active RN license for the state of NJ or Compact License
• Active BLS (AHA) Certificate
• Must be Covid Vaccinated
