**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring efficient operations and excellent patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar

- Pre-certifications for radiology and medicines

- Maintain electronic health records using medical software such as AthenaOne or Eaglesoft

- Assist with medical billing and insurance verification

- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with discretion and professionalism

- Perform general administrative tasks to support the medical staff

- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant preferred but not required or similar role

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with medical office operations and electronic health records systems

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with administrative tasks in a clinic or healthcare setting is preferred
