Looking for a D1 Field Service Technician to cover Florence /Myrtle Beach, SC area (Gen. Territory). The majority of the work will be the east coast of South Carolina but could extend to the entire state.
Must have an active driver's license and Proof of Covid vaccination, along with their own reliable transportation.
The Field Technician/Customer Service Engineer will provide break-fix troubleshooting and repair services to our customers.
Tech must be able to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
This is a Field Tech position where you will visit multiple sites a day around South Carolina. There will be over night stays possible and extensive travel. Travel up to 250 miles possible.
Mainly Epson large printer repair - must be mechanically inclined or printer/copier experienced.
Hardware break fix
We work on Servers (smart hands), Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, POS and Printers
Would need to be trained on United Airline Printers and Kiosks
Trained on Epson printers (2 weeks in Columbus, Oh)
Would be trained on Bibliotheca library systems (13 days over 3 weeks)
Would need to be HP certified on laptop, desktop, tablets and printers (we provide the link - it takes about 60 hours paid by us)
Would be on call every 3rd week. We average going out once per week after hours and weekends (could be more or less)
General FST responsibilities.
40-hrs/week (on-call nights/weekends required).
Must be able to work overtime when required (limited OT with Manager approval beforehand).
Must have excellent communications and customer service skills, and demonstrate leadership and creative thinking.
Provide quality customer support and relations through use of customer management skills and other D1Employees.
Diagnose machine performance problem.
Installing, repairing and troubleshooting workstations, Printers, Scanners, Routers, & Switches
Installing and repairing Servers
Troubleshoot and installing in LAN-WAN environments
Provide some desk side technical support for hardware and software
Perform analysis to effectively identify potential problems to eliminate problems in the future
Maintain requisite technical competence to support the hardware and software
Install, move, add, and change hardware and related peripherals in accordance with the Change Management Process
Taking appropriate actions to mitigate or eliminate hardware/software problems
Handle General Territory.
Perform applicable preventative maintenance, per OEM specifications
