**CDL Class A/Hazmat Driver**
5010 - Direct Atlanta, Georgia Minimum Experience **Experienced** Duties include but are not limited to: responsible for daily operations and maintenance of various company owned and operated equipment including vacuum trucks, tankers, pumpers and others. Responsible for project execution and performing all aspects of the multiple scope elements safely. These responsibilities change from day to day depending on the needs of the project, types of equipment needed and unforeseen events. This position of CDL Equipment Operator will be field based and work is performed under direction of a Service Group Manager or his/her designee. Overnight travel and extended stays are common. * Promotes a positive working relationship and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to meet job performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
* Demonstrates ability to organize personal and project tasks and set priorities. Typical project, day and week schedule management is essential.
* Assumes responsibility for his/her ongoing personal and professional growth and development and responsible for employees under his or her direct supervisions personal and professional growth and development.
* Strong Communication skills required and the ability to work within a diverse team.
* Ability to make well-reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to utilize field based technology to meet the demands of the business.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Competent in FMCSA and IFTA rules, regulations, and documentation for inter-state and intra-state transport Responsibilities:
* OSHA 10 hour certification
* Class A CDL License with Air brake and Tanker endorsement, Drivers record consistent with Vortex Companies, LLC Drivers Safety Standards
* Comply with all Federal (OSHA), State, Local, Customer or site specific and TBCI Safety policies and procedures.
* Comply with Company Employee Handbook and Policies.
* Drive Commercial Vehicles and comply with State and Federal Motor Vehicle Regulations.
* Operate and be fully responsible for Company owned and operated equipment as directed by the Project Supervisor.
* Perform operational maintenance to responsible equipment including minor maintenance and upkeep of equipment consistent with equipment operations manual and company standard operating procedures. .
* Ability to be on call for emergency or unscheduled work 24 hours per day during periods as designated in the on call policy.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.
