The CDL operator must work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sewer and storm water pipes.

Responsibilities :

• Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
• Equipment driving and operation.
• Entry into manhole and underground structures.
• Pump watch and operation.

Qualifications / Skills required :

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle, preferably a Vac Truck.
• Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Must also have the ability and / or willingness to learn and operate other company equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and meet background requirements. We are a second chance employer.

Physical Demands :

• Ability to enter confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and / or safety glasses / goggles while working as required by the job.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

We cover the entire state of FL so travel is required. Occasional out of state work.

$60 / day per diem. Hotels and other travel expenses are compensated by the company.
