Voyager Academy is currently looking for qualified coaching candidates to lead the Varsity Men's and Women's cross country program.

Qualifications:

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a sports program.
• Has previous coaching experience in cross country.
• The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through their instructions and actions.
• Must have excellent communication skills and communicate with administration, student athletes, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Instructs and demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
• Develops appropriate training programs and practice schedules.
• Ensures that proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment and uniforms and updated inventories are adhered to.
• Maintains necessary records and completes required paperwork in a specified time and manner
• Reporting ALL ejections and disqualifications to the Athletic Director.
• Reporting ALL game results to the Athletic Director
• Supervision of student athletes before, during and after practices and games.

This is a stipend position

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per year
