At Voyager Craft Coffee, community is our bread and butter! That's why we are always looking to connect better with our customers and neighbors! Since starting as a coffee cart back in 2016, we have since expanded to 4 South Bay (more coming soon!) locations with a loyal following. Our Marketing Director is responsible for connecting with our customer base with the right mix of humor, information, and compelling content.

Job Responsibilities

- Mastery across all our marketing channels

- You have demonstrated excellence in running social media accounts, particularly as it pertains to organic user growth and engagement. Content has to be top notch and well thought out

- You must be able to write compelling content suited for email distribution to 55,000 people on a weekly basis. In the emails, you must understand the type of content to include, from a spotlight on the team, to new items, to promos, to community related content

- You will have to coordinate with stores and vendors to produce high quality merchandise - drinkware, apparel, and headwear, stickers, among other things.

- Creation of newsletters or videos shared on internal chats

- Signage, menus, and online store management

- Community outreach to host events, coordinate with artists to post their work at the cafes, work with local non-profits, and general inquiries over email or DMs

Required Skills

- We hope you love to write and are a talented storyteller since we write a lot - captions, emails, newsletters, emails, etc

- Graphic Design - while this isn't the full time job, graphic design is needed from time to time to create physical branded items and merchandise. We generally use canva and some adobe suite products for this purpose

- You must be a talented photographer and videographer with great editing skills

- Ability to work with peers well - you'll work with our lead coffee roaster, head baker, and company ownership for product rollouts, online store maintenance, and coordination of promos

- Proficiency with excel / google sheets

- Ability to work in a self regulated environment

- Ability to create systems and processes to manage the work. We have a rich documented process for almost everything we do, but we can and want to get better

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
