Job Summary :

The Housekeeping position at a Princeton WV Hotel is an individual contributor role in the hospitality / restaurant industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all guests and ensuring that all areas of the hotel are kept up to company standards.

Responsibilities :

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas of the hotel, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping.
• Change and replace linens and towels, as needed.
• Stock and replenish guest room amenities, such as toiletries and towels.
• Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures and surfaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from guest rooms and common areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate departments.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with laundry services, as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and push / pull up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
