VP Racing Fuels is Hiring a BILLING and SHIPPING SUPERVISOR Near Huntingdon, TN

DescriptionPOSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of the Shipping/Billing department
  • In absence of Manager, oversee and direct staff of the department, prepare management reports, coordinate with production, pump slab and logistics manager to assure sufficient product to meet shipping demands.
  • Provide quality customer service, over the phone and in person.
  • Sales Order entry and processing.
  • Receive and process order through EDI
  • Process orders for Chemicals/ Reference Fuels
  • Process orders for all Rail shipments
  • Bill of Ladings for Outbound shipments.
  • Assist walk-in customers.
  • Freight Reports for A/P entry.
  • Assist with a credits and adjustments as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned by Manager

RequirementsREQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • With minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems, interpret, resolve problems and using a variety of instructions or guides received in writing, orally, in diagrams or schedule formats.
  • Inventory Management skills
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and a self-starter, requiring little direction.
  • Must have good telephone skills and interact well with others.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer contracts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate orally or in writing with co-workers, departments, customers and vendors.
  • Work well under time constraints while maintaining composure and integrity
EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
  • Required to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
  • Must be able to work weekends and or holidays as needed.
Work Environment
  • Primarily office environment but may be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils.
