Position Overview: 

The Communications Team Lead will manage a group of communications professionals in support of an evaluation dissemination and learning project at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. This individual will oversee the creation of communications and dissemination strategies and the creation of learning and knowledge products. These products include, but are not limited to evaluation briefs, Principles into Practice papers, web-based content, infographics, and other materials. The Team Lead will also support: 

Responsibilities: 

• Write and edit content tailored for a nontechnical audience, ensuring clarity and consistency.

• Design graphics and create short videos to enhance communication efforts.

• Develop and maintain the organization's website, ensuring content accuracy and user experience optimization.

• Lead the development of a monthly internal newsletter, curating content and coordinating distribution.

• Support event planning and coordination, including evaluation dissemination events, workshops, seminar series, and training.

• Participate in annual training events at MCC Headquarters, assisting with materials development and event logistics.

Qualifications: 

• Experience in international development communications and outreach.

• Ability to convert highly technical or statistical analysis into digestible content for general users.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies.

• Skill in communicating rigorous statistical analysis in development economics to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with impact and performance evaluation in developing countries, including econometric impact analysis.

• Proficiency in graphic design, data visualization, or coordinating these services.

• Clear and accessible writing skills for communicating data conclusions.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Expertise in HTML markup, MS Word, InDesign, InCopy, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Excel.

• Strong project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deliverables.

• Willingness to travel internationally (2-4 times per year)
