About this role

:At VRC, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our team. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to be the company’s subject matter expert with all payroll and benefits administration

.

What you will do

  • :Benefits: End-to-end benefits administration – new hires, life events, and open enrollmen
  • tProcess all health, welfare, and retirement plan enrollments, premiums, and employee contribution
  • sReview monthly health, disability, and life insurance bills to ensure accuracy, and liaise with the Finance Department accordingl
  • yAssist in developing benefit and payroll policies, processes, and guideline
  • sManage ACA administration – tracking, enrollments, and distribution of 1095-C'
  • sPayroll: Own end-to-end payroll process for 250 employees with multi-state complexit
  • yProcess employee changes affecting payroll, including new hires, terminations, and unique employee information including W4's, pay changes, bonuses and promotions, retirement deferrals and loan
  • sManage and guarantee semi-monthly disbursement of payroll to employees, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes consistent with federal, state, and local wage and hour law
  • sThoroughly understand compliance regulations and reporting for benefits, payroll, and retirement plan
  • sCompile information and complete audits to ensure payroll and benefit integrit
  • yAssist in developing benefit and payroll policies, processes, and guideline
  • sHandle statutory reporting related to compensation and benefit
  • sImport and reconcile time off into ADP from the company’s ERP system, Acumatic
  • aAssist with other duties as assigned by Human Resources and the Management tea

What you will need

  • :Bachelor’s degree preferre
  • dADP payroll system experience require
  • dMinimum of 3 years of experience with self-insured benefit
  • sKnowledge of multi-state and federal employment and payroll processing regulation
  • sPrior experience in financial services or professional services industry is preferre
  • dStrong sense of urgency, high level of accountability, detail-oriented, accurate, organized, deadline-driven, and ability to multitas
  • kextraordinary verbal and written communication skill
