Position Title: Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

This career opportunity is with VRIZE Digital Engineering team. Digital Engineering provides solutions and implementation to VRIZE customers in the Retail, consumer goods, Banking, and insurance verticals.

The Digital Engineering team is currently looking for highly skilled and an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building scalable software solutions by leveraging your expertise in front end and back-end technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design using react JS or equivalent.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Integration with Database and other 3rd party APIs
• Understanding of CI/ CD pipelines and being able to build and deploy the application.
• Test software through unit testing with latest frameworks. to ensure quality and responsiveness and efficiency or the code.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Implement security and data protection though microservices application using spring boot / node JS.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Documentation of HLD / LLD prior to developing the application.
• Work with product team and analysts to improve software.
• Create APIs using swagger documentation and implement the APIs with spring boot, along with relevant test cases.
• Follow Agile methodology.
• Able to start the implementation with minimal requirement and getting to closure as an when the requirements are finalized is critical.
• Able to work hands on with minimal input from other and get the work to closure with quality and all the required documentation is critical.

Requirements and skills

• Knowledge of front-end languages such as React JS or equivalent along with the usage of multiple relevant libraries.
• Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Java, node)
• 8 years of hands-on development experience in Java
• Next.js is a bonus
• 3 years of Experienced in Building microservice using Spring boot, REST APIs, Swagger, Authentication and Authorization.
• 2 years of experience on frontend development preferably on React JS
• Integration with 3rd party APIs using OAuth and other authentications.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with multiple stages covering build, test, compliance, packaging and deployment.
• Worked on multiple databases and has the right skills of using ORM tools such as JPA, Hibernate.
• knowledge on AWS experience on EKS, S3, Cloud watch, WAF, Route 53, API gateway, VPC, EC2, Lambdas.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
