Director People & Culture – Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility
Uniquely integrated in Westmead Health & Innovation District – the largest health, education, research and innovation precinct in the country, VVMF is the first commercial manufacturing facility of its kind in Australia. With a vision to be a leading commercial viral vector contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), VVMF will design, develop, manufacture and deliver advanced therapeutic solutions to companies, customers and patients across the globe.
VVMF is a “for-profit”, registered independent commercial entity, started with initial funding from NSW Government.
The Position
Reporting to the CEO, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of modern medicine and play a critical role in the creation of a true first for Australia.
As the Director of People & Culture (DPC) of this newly created organisation you will play a critical and instrumental role in its creation and long-term success on both the local and global stage.
Fundamentally, you will be responsible for the establishment and creation of the corporate culture, EVP and all people, WH&S and ESG related matters at VVMF. As such, the role will be incredibly varied: one moment highly strategic, partnering the CEO and ELT on critical, strategic objectives, and on another highly operational, driving general recruitment and talent acquisition.
