Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to focus on the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing and packaging processes in our new state-of-the art starchless gummy manufacturing facility in Haslet, TX. This role involves applying engineering principles to ensure efficient production, enhance product quality, and drive cost-effective operations.

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

1. Develop and optimize manufacturing and packaging processes, improve material flow, and OEE.
2. Develop and maintain labor standards and preventative maintenance schedules.
3. Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
4. Engineer and implement manufacturing strategies, developing robust process control strategies.
5. Implement solutions and best practices to improve and maintain product quality.
6. Achieve cost savings by reducing costs in materials, labor, and overhead.
7. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive process improvements.
8. Manage equipment selection, modification, procurement, installation, and start-up processes.
9. Develop a knowledge management system to capture standard work and best practices
10. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the supply chain.

Youll need the following (minimum qualifications):

1. 5 years experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
2. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field is required, Masters preferred.
3. In-depth technical knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with manufacturing processes.
4. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
