SummaryThe Junior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible creating and analyzing comprehensive inbound and outbound distribution data as well as developing solutions for continuous improvement in distribution related operations.

This is a Hybrid position out of our Boston location.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and examine all pertinent distribution data as assigned
• Contributes to projects, work groups and the training of other employees in the area of expertise
• Identify and address barriers that increase operational efficiency in WB Mason supply chain
• Work directly with internal departments (distribution analysis, purchasing, warehousing, finance, customers service) to identify and resolve issues pertaining to operational efficiency and cost control
• Act as company resource to impart new distribution information, processes and functions pertaining to internal departments as needed
• Provide reports/documents in support of future supply chain strategy
• Identify trends in related instances for hub and branch operations and be able to communication information to senior level management
• Act as the leader in any projects assigned within the Distribution Analysis Department, ensure that cross functional team members are meeting deadlines
• Develop SOPs and recommend possible changes to current procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• A developed understanding of B2B operations and business model
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to "think on your feet" in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel is a must
• Knowledge or understanding of how to use SQL is a plus
• Willingness to spend time in a warehouse environment and travel
• Have a wide degree of creativity in analyzing problems and finding solutions

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management, supply chain, logistics or related field
• 0-2 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain or Logistics
