Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Processes accounts payable invoices timely; allocating expenditures to correct accounts according to procedures
- Maintains vendor W-9 information and proof of worker's comp insurance and general liability coverage as applicable
- Prepares accounts receivable invoices for services rendered in accordance with all business contracts and agreements with third parties
- Processes payroll and prepares necessary payroll reports and journal entries.
- Provides servicing on all mortgage loans and manages customer escrow accounts in accordance with mortgage servicing standards and regulations
- Processes mortgage payment information on customers to Credit Bureau Alliance on a monthly basis; provides delinquency status information to manager and contacts customers as needed for collections on past due accounts
- Manages cash accounts, processes monthly bank reconciliations, and provides daily cash balances to Director of Finance & Administration
- Initiates and processes all wire transfers and ACH transactions for customer and/or vendor payments
- Provides required documentation for all grant and/or investor funding activities for compliance with monthly and annual reporting
- Assists the Director of Finance & Administration with the annual audit compliance and reporting activities
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance (will consider candidates with Associate's Degree if they have extensive bookkeeping experience)
- At least 3 years' experience as a full-charge bookkeeper
