Responsibilities And Duties
- Prospect and nurture new business
- Present the company value proposition communications via personal meetings, electronic communications, and scheduled events consistent with commercial construction projects
- Manage all aspects of an assigned commercial project(s) including, but not limited to, the following: (i) monitoring the design process (schematic design to construction documents to shop drawings), (ii) develop/maintain modular unit specifications,(iii) develop/maintain scope of work documents, (iv) prepare product submittals, (v) initiate request for information, (vi) develop project logistics' planning /scheduling
- Assist with contract administration, including but not limited to,(i) drafting/negotiating contract documents, (ii) managing/monitoring contractual obligations, (iii) developing and managing change orders, and (iv) preparing timely payment applications for review
- Communicate with all project stakeholders and maintain relationships with project owners, subcontractors, and architectural / engineering firms.
- Provide high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers
- Prepare ROM and other cost estimates
- Manage subcontractors and sub-consultants
- Participate in conflict resolution specific to projects assigned
- Coordinate field repairs and document punch list items with internal departments and customers as required.
- Attend and initiate project meetings, internal & external, as required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Business/Marketing.
- Five (5) years of related/modular industry-construction experience
- Building Code knowledge
- CAD experience/knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and familiarity with cloud-based project management tools such as Builder Trend, Pipeline Deals, and alike.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in the field or from satellite offices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout multiple States (Valid driver's license).
