testing.
Implements and maintains overall engineering objectives and initiatives.
Assesses, analyzes and
solves performance/operational issues to improve development efficiency. Leads and develops the
engineering team. Oversees project management processes and delivery timelines to keep projects on
schedule and on budget. Manages through direct report Specialists. Provides input to strategic
decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Developing and managing the department
budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with
other departments.
Job Responsibilities
- The Manager oversees and supports the functioning of all manufacturing related systems.
- Supervises and tracks progress of all short term and long-term projects.
- Works with other departments on an as needed basis to understand what is needed, what if any
- The manager is responsible for making sure that all engineering related functions and processes
- The Manager can also perform any of the duties of the direct reports including Lead
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's in Engineering
- Master's degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration preferred
- 6 years of Engineering experience, ideally in a management role
- Analytical and mathematically inclined, capable of evaluating and solving various complex
- Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team
- Organizational competencies and project management skills
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven
- Interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate complicated topics to
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
