ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day:Service assigned accounts per agency best practices.
Maintain high client service levels.
Market and place new business submissions and renewals.
Achieve sales and retention goals through proactive account rounding, up-selling, and excellent client service.
Use skilled communication, decision-making, and self-reliance.
General DutiesMaintain client files, process policies, endorsements, invoices, binders, certificates, and documentation within timelines.
Manage renewal expiration lists, binders, and aged receivables.
Perform annual reviews and risk exposure analyses for renewals.
Respond to client inquiries and requests.
Prepare billing according to credit and collection policies.
Ensure correct processing of all items.
Stay updated on carrier underwriting requirements.
Participate in insurance and sales education courses.
Keep informed on industry trends through journals and bulletins.
Assist with special projects as requested by management.
Qualifications & EducationAssociate degree required; bachelor's preferred.
Proficient in Adobe Pro, Word, Excel, Outlook, and phone systems.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Desire to learn insurance industry products and practices.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Knowledge of brokerage operations, claims handling, procedures, rating, agency management systems, and insurance laws.
Familiarity with risk assessment and management techniques.
