The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of production
machinery both mechanically and electrically. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing
problems and initiate repairs to Plant equipment on a timely basis. They will also perform
preventative maintenance on Plant equipment.
Essential Functions
- Perform maintenance/electrical repairs of production machinery with little or no
- Install new equipment as directed and assist in start-up
- Be able to efficiently use all shop equipment
- Be able to install pipe and equipment from drawings
- Follow all safety requirements for lock-out/tag-out, for confined space and tank entry, for

- Instrumentation, installation/removal and or calibration
- Motor installations/removals and or adjustments/alignments
- Must have a sound working knowledge of all shop equipment
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from drawings
- Experience with pneumatic systems
- Able to use an electrical meter
