Description of Work (Includes but is not limited to the following):
- Prepare & Submit Submittals & RFI's to clients and engineers for review
- Maintain Project Submittal, Change Order and Daily logs
- Maintain Project file in an organized fashion
- Prepare weekly & monthly schedules
- Assist with takeoff for estimating
- Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors
- Order job site materials
- Interpret Plans & Specifications
- Coordinate & Schedule Sub-Contractors
- Attend weekly Job Site Meetings
- Coordinate work with Site Superintendent & Project Manager
- Deliver Material to Job Sites
- Must be a team player
- Worked as part of a project team in the heavy highway construction industry
- Excellent organizational & communication skills
- Great time management skills
- Excellent problem solver
- Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Microsoft Project
- Experience with both HCSS (HeavyBid) and Vista by Viewpoint would be helpful though not required.
