We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will serve as the single point of contact for all aspects of assigned contract furniture projects, from inception of the project to final close-out and invoicing. This Manager plans, coordinates and oversees all tasks, critical dates, client and third-party interface and relations, performance quality, customer satisfaction, budget, and project administration for each assigned project.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Is solely responsible for serving as contact for all customer communications, responding to customers questions, providing them with updates, and obtaining required signatures throughout the process.
- Develops work plan, schedule and logistics based on overall project parameters, schedule, scope, and customer's goals.
- Responsible for creating labor quotes to include travel, installation time and vehicle resources.
- Serves as technical consultant to customers and their team.
- Is responsible for coordinating timeline with client and all third-party firms (A&D, contracting, cabling, electrical, client's facility, IT, movers, etc.).
- Maintains detailed project documentation, including key project decisions and customer/project requests/revisions.
- Provides timely, formal written communications, charts, and spreadsheets, throughout project to client, dealer, and project team.
- Manages accurate and detailed recordkeeping, including receiving documentation, time sheets and contract adherence, signoffs and approvals, key decision records, etc.
- Coordinates with customer service and factory, as necessary, regarding product shipping/delivery scheduling, and special instructions for manufacturing/shipping/delivery.
- Supervise onsite installation, including performance of work, installation administration and timeliness of task completion.
- Walks project and develops punch list, responsible for list resolution.
- Confirms project completion and ensures all invoicing is initiated.
- Manages all final project close-out requirements, including lien releases, contract requirements, client signoffs, etc.
- Provides training and guidance to Associate Project Manager, in all facets and responsibilities of job.
- Adheres to uniform/grooming guidelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Possess product and technical knowledge, including applicable building codes, correct product application, electricity, and cabling, etc.
- Ability to analyze, plan, schedule and implement project installation.
- Knowledge of interior construction, moves and relocations, trucking, furniture manufacturing, and shipping.
- Ability to always remain professional and courteous.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven organizational and follow-through skills are required.
- Ability to read and comprehend floor plans and installation drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, in English.
- Ability to lift/move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to sit at a desk, walk, or stand, for extended periods of time.
- Computer literacy, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in a high stress environment, maintaining a calm, composed demeanor.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum of two years related experience is preferred.
Pay: From $64,000.00 per year
