We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. If you have a passion for building and negotiating contracts, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate estimates
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Visit construction sites as needed to gather relevant information
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Familiarity with construction management processes
- Strong knowledge of cost control techniques
- Proficiency in using estimating software like HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift
- Ability to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers
- Experience working on construction sites is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
