Lean Committee ensuring Lean thinking and practices are fully applied in the production process and continuously drive efficiency.
Tasks
- Regular/preventive maintenance, machine changeover, part changing/inspecting
- Troubleshoot with minimal supervision and reduce the amount of down time
- Optimize the flow to meet takt time and customer needs
- Identify inefficiencies and wastes in the process to improve productivity
- Perform daily production tasks
- 1-year or above of relevant experience with Printing Device
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or related major preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Self-motivated
- Passionate about learning
- Mechanical Experience: The ideal candidate shall have proficient knowledge and experience with common tools such as wrenches, Allen Keys, drills, pliers, and calipers, and know the difference between metric and standard hardware.
- Timeliness: The technician shall be exactly on time at the beginning of their turn or be as much as 30 minutes early in order to be aware of the any problems or work to be done.
- Learning: Training will be provided in the first weeks and many topics will be covered. It is essential to follow directions as told and take notes.
- Work Ethic: The technician mindset shall always be focused on how to improve current operation methods. They will also be willing to work extra time when needed and help with the production line.
- Detail Oriented: Clients ask for their print to be as accurate as possible. Therefore, it is the duty of the technician to see if the final prints are being printed well or if they need adjustments. Such examples include color shades and missing letters.
- Communication: The technician will need to be able to communicate in detail with the managers/other technicians about how production is running. For example, if there is an issue with any machinery the technician shall make a full detailed report for the manager and other technicians to make them aware or help troubleshoot the issue
