Job Title: Technical Support ChemistJob Type: Fulltime-Direct HireJob Description
- Assist in development of analytical methods
- Instrument and software testing
- Create customer describing procedures for efficient and effective use of instrumentation
- Special projects related to customer needs
- On-site & virtual installations and trainings at laboratories around the US
- Telephone and email troubleshooting for customers
- Advise customers on instrumentation and methods
- Preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests
- Perform diagnostics on in-house instruments
- Instrument maintenance
- Assist technical sales with Instrument/software demonstrations
- Assist with sales and marketing strategies
- Attend conferences, exhibitions and demonstrations as required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or closely related field
- Ideally have experience in water/wastewater laboratory
- Good analytical chemistry laboratory skills
- Ideally familiar with analyses techniques such as BOD, COD, Metals, Colorimetric Inorganic nutrient analysis
- Having worked with discrete, flow analyzers (FIA, SFA) and/or BOD robotics is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a part of a team to accomplish common goals
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (available for overnight week day travel, up to 3-4 nights per week). Majority of travel is within the US.
