Full Job Description
WA Construct is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and oversee various construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will build and manage budgets, secure necessary permits, and communicate clients' goals to subcontractors and construction workers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Utilize project scope to determine and define the best plan for task completion.
  • Coordinate material procurement to ensure timely availability and minimize unnecessary runs.
  • Manage construction schedules and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.
  • Maintain quality execution and a clean, orderly job site.
  • Anticipate problems and proactively develop solutions.
  • Provide feedback to homeowners on processes, procedures, and employee performance.
  • Schedule meetings with clients two weeks into the project.
  • Work on weekends as needed.
  • Hold bi-weekly meetings with the project salesperson.
  • Daily review of subcontractor work.
  • Schedule and manage town inspections and permit processes.
  • Utilize a scorecard to review subcontractors.
  • Follow and implement WA construction processes on all job sites.
  • Keep CEO and executives updated on progress.
  • Review job plans for discrepancies.
  • Ensure daily site photos are sent to the executive team.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material orders.
  • Monitor workmanship quality in detail, halting work when necessary to provide training.
  • Communicate regularly with homeowners to keep them informed and maintain goodwill.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • 5-7 years in residential construction; previous Project Management experience desired.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Must submit Portfolio of Work
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and explain blueprints and floor plans.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong customer satisfaction skills.
  • Knowledge of industry safety practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, iOS, Google Suite; BuilderTrend experience is a plus.
