Wabash is Hiring a Manager, Service Near Houston, TX
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the scheduling of work through the shop
- Hire, train and evaluate personnel
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
- Complete necessary paperwork for tank repair orders in accurate and timely manner
- Review completed shop orders before they are closed and invoiced
- Requisition purchase orders to suppliers
- Assist in the quotation of repair orders that will be presented to the customer
- Schedule all mechanics and shop maintenance requirements
- Project management
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in departmental leadership preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in parts, fleets, and tank trailer service/repair preferred
- Must have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
