PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a Snack Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy of food and beverage orders, handling food and beverage related transactions, and serving food and beverage orders to customers. You will also be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food and beverage orders and general cleaning duties.

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a welcoming experience for all members and guests.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders from members and guests both in person and over the phone.
• Handle all aspects of point-of-sale transactions.
• Deliver food and beverages to members and guests.
• Assist with performing opening and closing duties.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Assist with preparing food and beverages as needed.
• Willingness to learn basic bartending skills and prepare beverages as needed.
• Protect establishment and customers by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow uniform and personal appearance standards, as well as all employee standards outlined in the employee handbook(s).
• Other duties as assigned by the Magnolia’s Manager, Executive Chef, or General Manager.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Must be willing to learn basic bartending skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to be on your feet for long hours.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, rotate, climb, stand, push, lift, grasp, and reach.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various extreme weather conditions.
• Willingness to work with or around sharp utensils and/or harmful chemicals.
• Must be able to work at least an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to work at least a 40-hour week, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous cook experience preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation: $14.00/hour-$16.00/hour
