What You Will DoThis Process Development Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving the processes and equipment for the handling, crushing, sorting, and packaging of hyper-pure polysilicon.
  • Design, implement, validate, and improve the processes and equipment for the handling, crushing, sorting, and packaging of hyper pure polysilicon
  • Develop, evaluate, validate, and improve processes, procedures, and supplies focused on cost reduction, productivity, and quality
  • Support operations and engineering in identifying and correcting deviations from standard processes and quality
  • Identification, analysis, and reduction of contamination sources during the processing of polysilicon
  • Evaluation and development of new technology, materials, or suppliers for improving the overall process or cost
  • Participate in or lead working groups and transfer process projects to and from other sites
What We Need From You
  • Minimum Education - B.S. Engineering discipline (mechanical strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 0-4 years of experience
  • Ability to take ownership of a problem, plan and lead an investigation, and effectively find a solution
  • Demonstrated organization and communication skills necessary to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with some degree of ambiguity, changing priorities, and business needs as a part of multi-disciplinary teams
  • A team player, working and collaborating with various departments and levels of the organization including international colleagues.
  • Enjoy hands-on tasks with an affinity for mechanical equipment and principles is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and/or experience desired in evaluation of a process data with statistical tools like Minitab.
