The Opportunity:

Wagestream has ambitious growth targets in the US and are looking for the right person to scale and take the US Delivery team forwards to deliver on the overarching goal of bringing Wagestream’s financial wellbeing platform to more and more customers Stateside.

As US Head of Delivery, you will be managing a team of Delivery Managers, responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of all projects - both customer launches and in-life customer optimisation work, ensuring at all times they meet business objectives and customer requirements. We’re looking for someone who displays strong leadership, a willingness to roll your sleeves up, stepping up to take on a player-manager role as we scale the team, as well as the hunger to accept nothing but excellence in service delivery.

The Team:

You’ll be working closely alongside the US VP of Commercial to ensure the team is resourced accordingly and focussed on the right KPIs to support the growing pipeline of signed customers.

You’ll work closely with the US Head of Client Success, ensuring customers are leaving Hypercare in the optimum state to enjoy ongoing account management and you’ll also benefit from regular sync ups with your counterparts across the pond in the UK - sharing best practice, learnings and knowledge to take the US Delivery pipeline to the next level.

What will you be doing?

Beyond managing the pipeline and scaling the team for success, you’ll also be the Implementation point of contact for our partners. This part of the role will be crucial in enabling us to deepen our relationships with existing partners so we can continually improve the onboarding experience for our partner clients and also setting new partnerships up on frameworks that enable seamless transition for clients onto the platform.

What experience might you have?

Must-haves: (But if you’re close… we'd still love to talk to you!)

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
• Experience in a leadership position, ideally with a proven track record of scaling teams for success
• Able to demonstrate management of large-scale and complex projects and delivering successful outcomes
• Adept at working closely with Product and Engineering teams - demonstrating deep understanding of the technical aspects of an implementation and able to articulate this with ease
• Experience in the payroll or finance industry is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work under pressure and enjoys a fast paced environment
• Demonstrable agility in pivoting to changing business priorities

Can-be-learnts:

Technical knowledge of our typical partner integrations with workforce management and payroll systems

Within 1 month you’ll have:

• Deep understanding of of all things Wagestream - the product, our partners, current processes and integrations
• A good working knowledge of the common speed bumps we face and how we best mitigate in pipeline management.
• A foundational understanding of where the team needs to go in terms of skills development and size to meet its goals

Within 3 months you’ll have:

• Developed strong relationships at all levels at our top partners, particularly those in Implementation and onboarding
• Mastered all the nuance and technical aspects of the product so you can speak with authority on everything from balance calculations to enrolment flows!
• Challenged the status quo! We love new ideas and a fresh perspective - three months in you’ll be in a great place to advise and begin to implement what will help drive us forwards in Delivery

Within 6 months you’ll have:

• Launched your first customer! This role cries out for the hands on approach and will really benefit from someone who is keen to walk the course and take the client from Sales to Success.
• Driven cross-functional workstreams to solve problems for our clients and partners
• Had the opportunity to spend time with the UK Go to Market teams to share best practice and deepen ties with your counterparts to prevent siloed knowledge
• Continue to build out the ‘best in class’ onboarding playbook and experience across our client base, helping the team continue a cadence of successful launches

Remuneration: $140,000 - 160,000 bonus & equity

Working Policy: 3 days per week in the Arlington office
