Job description

  • Prepare individual and small business entities' income tax returns
  • Research specific tax technical issues
  • Gather relevant financial data for clients and prospects to help with essential functions
  • Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trail balances and financial statements
  • Analyze balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for reasonableness
  • This role provides client relationship and general practice management support through preparing client deliverables, setting up a new business, following up on all business activities, assisting in tax planning, and performing other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university with 150 credit hours of coursework
  • CPA designation or candidate on the CPA track
  • Strong interest in accounting, taxation, and financial planning.
