Award-winning Wagner Logistics, a Top 50 Third Party Logistics company providing supply chain services including distribution center management, warehousing, transportation, order fulfilment, product assembly and packaging, is seeking Powder Loader Driver onsite at our customer's production facility at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Power Loader Driver is responsible for the accurate storing, delivering and receiving of product to meet Wagner Logistics' standards of safety, security and productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Shipping/Receiving
Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
Storing
Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
Order Picking
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
Equipment
Operate the material handling equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently as required. Perform pre-operating and post-operating safety checks per requirements. Report any defects to Supervisor so repairs can be performed.
Checking
Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation. Follow Facility Safety protocol for reporting damage or infestation.
Delivery
Drive Van or Box Truck to and from the Bunkers and the Plant receiving areas. Follow all safety and traffic regulations.
Safety, Sanitation, Security
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Be vigilant and report any suspicious visitors or activity on the premises. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
Miscellaneous
Participate in physical inventories. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed. Repair pallets when necessary. Clean vehicles as requested.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

Citizenship - Must be a United States Citizen

Criminal Background and Pre-Employment Drug Test - Clean criminal history and pass drug test is mandatory
Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Experience - Minimum 2-years' experience in warehouse or distribution center setting; knowledge of warehousing and logistics terms and processes is a plus. Experience driving a Box Truck or Delivery Van preferred.
