Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are strictly a Mobile Veterinary Practice primarily serving Brooksville and Spring Hill. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing high-quality veterinary services. Must have a great attitude, willing to learn and respect for entire team, patients and their owners. Work days are 8:30am-5:30pm M-TH, F- 4 hours minimum (more hours likely available if candidate is wanting more hours).

Responsibilities:

- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and care for animals post-surgery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic
- Handle and restrain animals during procedures

Experience:

The successful candidate should ideally possess some of the following skills:

- Experience with restraint of dogs and cats
- Understanding of aseptic techniques in a veterinary setting
- Ability to perform X-rays and assist with laboratory procedures

-Willing to learn any necessary treatments or procedures

-Mulitask

- Great attitude towards staff and clients

- Honesty, integrity and timeliness necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.50 per hour
