Waldvogel Commercial Properties, Inc. (WCP) is hiring a Residential Leasing Agent. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our property management team and primarily responsible for leasing and tenant relations. This position is a great fit for an experienced property management professional who is client and customer service oriented.

Our company and this position is located in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Quality of life here is high with incredible outdoor assets such as the Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway, and numerous lakes, rivers and waterways for sport and exploration. The region is home to 600 miles of trails, 30 miles of urban greenways, and 300,000 acres of national forest. Roanoke boasts professional theatre, symphony, and opera companies, a world-class art museum, thriving dining scene, wineries, breweries, and incredible live music venues.

Overall Responsibilities to Include:

· Coordinate all aspects of leasing, to include marketing, showing apartments and homes, overseeing tenant selection criteria and application process

· Maintain positive tenant relations at all properties

· Securing lease commitments and preparing all lease documents and amendments

Skills and Attributes:

· Energetic, goal-oriented, and a real “people person”

· Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

· A commitment to working as a member as a comprehensive property management team

· Working knowledge of Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act; Fair Housing Act and regulations;

Qualifications and Requirement:

· Active Virginia Real Estate License

· Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

· 1 years’ experience in residential leasing

· Fair Housing Certificate

· Pursue and maintain advance industry designation(s) and knowledge of current industry standards and trends
