Health Care Quality Project Coordinator | Hybrid | Detroit, MI | Contract to Hire

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Health Care Quality Project Coordinator for a healthcare client located in Detroit, MI. This is a contract position.

START DATE: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Review reports for accuracy and consistency for Quality Management reporting.
  • Support facilitation of the bi-monthly Member Experience Committee meeting.
  • Attend monthly NCQA workgroup trainings hosted by the Quality Management department.
  • Engage with other departments to gain a broader understanding of the enterprise.
  • Interpret internal business reports, apply learnings, and prepare/write reports (e.g., Quality Management, HEDIS measures, CAHPS ratings).
  • Possess knowledge/experience with healthcare quality measures, report writing, and/or NCQA ratings.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, proactively managing updates, meetings, organizing teams, addressing risks, problem-solving, follow-through, and documenting metrics.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-3 years in project coordination
  • Healthcare experience
  • Impeccable follow through and ability to manage projects/tasks from start to finish
  • Foundation or understanding in health care quality measures with CAHPS, HEDIS
  • Experienced in writing/responding to reports
  • Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., SharePoint, Excel PowerPoint, Word)
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with PowerPoint in designing and created presentations
  • Converting files to PDF in Adobe
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge/experience in Customer Experience (CX)
  • Bachelor's Degree
