Lead Scrum Master | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Lead Scrum Master for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Scrum Facilitation : Facilitate Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Team Leadership : Guide the Scrum Team on Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum theory, practices, and guidelines.
• Performance Improvement : Enhance team performance by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, employing coaching techniques as needed.
• Collaboration : Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, and Experience Design partners to ensure successful product delivery.
• Impediment Removal : Resolve team impediments in collaboration with other Scrum Leaders to boost Scrum effectiveness.
• Agile Advancement : Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
• Stakeholder Management : Influence and drive decision-making by working with internal and external stakeholders to support product teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Exemplify and promote Agile values and principles
• Strong understanding of Scrum and the software development lifecycle
• Proficient in refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Experience with ITIL, ADO (Azure DevOps)
