Job Summary
The Music Publishing team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead complex, global enterprise initiatives. Applying a blend of technical expertise and business intelligence, you will interact directly with multi-functional teams across the larger publishing organization, engineering, commercials, legal, finance and audit to define, build and roll-out business processes and engineering systems.
Key Qualifications
· Minimum 10 years of product management experience preferably with cross functional and data driven systems.
· Experience in leading software and system implementations across large organizations.
· Experience defining technical requirements, process flow diagrams, BRDs and user stories.
· Ability to understand business process gaps, document and get consensus on tradeoffs and define practical solutions.
· Ability to grasp the technical details of complex engineering and analytical issues and provide in-depth evaluations.
· Experience providing technical contributions to data/system architecture.
· Proficiency in SQL
· Proficiency in handling large data files using UNIX commands, shell scripts.
· Ability to define and test RESTful API’s; competency with parsing JSON.
· Familiarity with Python
· Able to define test cases and perform meticulous UAT testing.
· Able to focus on the details whilst also seeing the big picture and being comfortable with a level of ambiguity.
· Knowledge of managing subscription services is a bonus
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Commercials, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, Analytics, Business Dev, and other organizations both inside and outside of Apple to develop new features.
· Identify, propose, craft technical solutions that are user-friendly, scalable, and address key business issues.
· Define product features/enhancements and communicate requirements to engineering teams via clearly written requirements documents, diagrams, and concise verbal communication.
· Assess and recommend solutions to deliver the required capabilities and determine a roadmap.
· Work with stakeholders to identify business needs, current and future.
· Drive initiatives through to execution while focusing on project and status transparency, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and aware throughout the process.
· Simultaneously handling multiple lines of work with competing priorities.
