ROLE – Technical Project Manager
LOCATION – Cupertino - Hybrid
MAIN SKILLS – SQL and procedural SQL (preferably Oracle), programming language Python or similar languages, handling large data files using UNIX scripting, 15 years of experience in technical roles involving software development
Key Qualifications:
· Minimum 15 years of experience in technical roles involving software development preferably with cross functional and data driven systems.
· Proficiency in handling large data files using UNIX scripting
· Proficiency in SQL and procedural SQL (preferably Oracle)
· Skilled in using a variety of tools (excel, relational database, scripts etc.) for data analysis.
· Competency in the programming language Python or similar languages
· Able to define test cases and perform meticulous UAT testing.
· Operational experience, ideally within a system that involves royalty payments.
· Accuracy and thorough attention to detail is crucial; able to follow defined processes.
· Outstanding organizational skills; the ability to deliver to a tight timeframe whilst maintaining quality of work.
· Able to collaborate closely with multiple teams, both internally and externally.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Able to focus in on the details whilst also seeing the big picture and being comfortable with a level of ambiguity.
Description
· Identification of data and process issues and tenaciously working with cross functional teams across Apple to resolve them.
· Ensure data consistency at various points in the report generation workflow
· Investigate problems with reports and as required use scripting or DB query to investigate
· Ensure outbound reporting meets all quality checks and SLAs.
· Create and Execute scripts as necessary to perform detailed testing of business requirements and data analysis.
· Project managing operational tasks to support music publishing reporting, production systems and new initiatives.
· Simultaneously handling multiple lines of work with competing priorities.
· Working with cross functional teams to understand program level goals and determine music publishing requirements to meet those goals.
