Do you love to make a difference in the lives of people who experience developmental disabilities? Wall Residences is seeking a Supported Living Regional Coordinator with the following qualifications:

Successful Regional Coordinator candidates will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Human Services field with 5 years of experience in the DD/ID field - 2 years of which must be in a supervisory role. Must have working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports as well as the ability to develop supportive relationships with the individuals who receive services, their families, and with the Direct Support Professionals who serve them. Familiarity with Medicaid Waiver, licensing, and human rights is required. Proven ability to problem-solve, manage a crisis, and lead others in creating a positive work culture that supports diversity and creating meaningful lives for those we serve. Successful candidate will be mission focused, organized, self-directed, and able to guide the work of others. Duties of the Regional Coordinator position include maintaining a case load, supervising the work of other program managers, training / creating training materials, new service development and marketing the agency to referral sources.

Wall Residences Supported Living program is a supportive in-home service directed by the individual and their person-centered plan. The program supports adults with intellectual disabilities with skill- building, and managing routine, general, and safety supports that enable an individual to acquire, retain, or improve the self-direction, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to be successful in home and community-based settings. The program is designed to optimize an individual’s initiative, autonomy, and self-awareness both at home and in the community.

Supported Living assists with managing all aspects necessary for individuals to maintain independence in their own homes while being provided access to 24-hour support. Specialized supervision provides staff presence for ongoing or intermittent intervention, ensuring an individual’s health and safety, addressing necessary activities of daily living (ADLs), managing instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and the provision of general supports necessary for personal growth and quality of life. Supported Living serves to develop and/or generalize skills through skill building that promotes self-direction and social connections.

Telecommuting position with some flexibility. Home office and internet access required. Regional Coordinators are provided with a computer, phone, company gas card, access to excellent training, and continuing education reimbursement. Regional Coordinators are also provided with a company car for travel as needed within a regional area.
