Project Engineer - Highways
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to provide technical supervision and assist in managing highway projects. This role involves designing major tasks within projects managed by others, contributing to proposals, budgets, and schedules, and ensuring production profitability. The Project Engineer will also oversee quality control procedures and liaise with clients, potentially serving as a Project Team Leader to direct technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical supervision and management assistance for highway projects.
- Design major project tasks.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Manage production profitability and quality control procedures.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Serve as a Project Team Leader, directing day-to-day technical tasks for staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of design experience or equivalent work experience.
