- Interact with customers through inside and outside sales to grow relationships and more business
- Create Ocean sales quotations that support an opportunity to win new business and develop tele-sales leads by analyzing statistics and data supporting
- Generate interest, qualify prospects, maintain customer relationships and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails.
- Maintain performance targets (KPI’s) to ensure high quality customer service and targeted business generation
- Provide pricing support, forecasting and budgetary input to Commercial teams.
- Analyze customer requirements and market trends. Monitor competition and evaluate opportunities for new products and activities
- 5 years of relevant shipping, transportation or logistics industry experience
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment
- Experience with identifying opportunities, based on customer’s needs
- Must be able to travel domestically
- Results-oriented and accuracy driven
- Flexible, adaptable and collaborative- ability to foster an agile working environment.
