Position Overview :

Walleye Capital is seeking a software developer who is passionate about what they do and wants to work with us to build the future. In addition to software development, this role involves working closely with other developers, the CTO, traders, and many others within Walleye. Due to our relatively small team size, each of our developers works on a wide range of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance system infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain system monitoring tools.
• Build and optimize data import pipelines.
• Work on proprietary time-series data platform.
• Develop and support user-facing Python APIs.
• Handle FINRA-CAT reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain volatility trading tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues.
• Document technical processes and system configurations.

Qualifications :

• 2 years of work experience coding in Java or C/C or C#.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to take ownership, stay organized, communicate and be productive (very important due our size and responsibilities).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing financial applications is a strong plus, but not required.
• Multi-asset experience is a plus, but not required.

Salary Range:

The expected base salary for this New York, New York based position is $130,000 - $160,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
