About the Newport Walmart

Essential Responsibilities

• Identify and report any suspicious activity in the store to the Asset Protection Manager.
• Investigate identified or suspected thefts and frauds, both internal and external.
• Conduct surveillance and inspections routinely to ensure the security of the employees.
• Enforce the organization's standards relating to safety and security procedures.
• Monitor the security systems of the store.
• Train new hires in the field of asset protection.
• Perform routine maintenance and tests of the organization's security systems and alarms.
• Conduct store audits and identify procedural differences or problematic areas.
• Monitor or implement processes to reduce financial or property losses.

Physical Activities Involved

• Enters and locates information on computer.
• Presents information to small or large groups and individuals. Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment.
• Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as a pencil or pen) or computer.
• Visually verifies information, often in small print.
• Reads information, often in small print.

Location, commitment and schedule

• Full-time, part-time, or temporary role.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• 10pm to 7am with one hour for lunch.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
