A Walmart overnight maintenance associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the store during the overnight hours. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include:

1. Cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the store, including restrooms, floors, and common areas.

2. Emptying trash cans and disposing of waste properly.

3. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

4. Operating cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.

5. Restocking cleaning supplies and notifying management when supplies are low.

6. Assisting with the setup and takedown of displays and promotional materials.

7. Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaks.

8. Ensuring all safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.

9. Responding to customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service as needed.

10. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the store is clean and presentable for customers during the day.

This job typically requires working overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the store is closed to the public during these hours. Physical stamina and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
