Walsh University is seeking to expand their pool of online adjunct instructors for our graduate nursing programs. We have several rapidly growing programs within the Byers School of Nursing including a MSN, BSN-DNP, Post Masters DNP, and several post masters certificate programs. Advanced Practice tracks include Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
The successful candidate for this position will possess expertise in the subject content and have current practical experience in the field. In addition, the candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills when relating to students in an online format and provide meaningful formative and summative feedback to students. Current teaching opportunities within the graduate nursing programs include APRN clinical courses, advanced pharmacology, advanced pathophysiology, health informatics, healthcare policy, epidemiology, and advanced nursing research. Courses will be taught online in either an 8-week or 16-week format.
Requirements: A doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) is preferred. Online teaching experience is preferred but candidates with a strong background in the content area will be considered.
