This role will supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities through installation on a project or multiple projects. This superintendent will supervise the quality and safety in the field. It is expected to provide technical expertise and ensure the work in place meets the quality requirements of contract documents, applicable codes, and Disney standards. There is also an expectation to coordinate work with contractors, operations, vendors, and governmental agencies.

- Evaluate risk early in the project and provide critical thinking expertise during pre-construction
- Identifies and monitors applicable points of coordination at multiple levels
- Arbitrates on-site discord between contractors, designers, park partners
- Leads project team including consultants, staff extensions, contractors, etc.
- Day-to-day decision-making for activities within scope. Knows when to elevate issues requiring senior leadership direction
- Communicate, collaborate, and partner with clients, project contract administration, project manager, project architect, consultants, and other members of the team
- Coordinate site security and lead the safety program with internal partners
- Review, approve, and handle alignment to contractor QA/QC program
- Understand project schedules, ability to plan and anticipate constraints
- Facilitates contractor coordinator with Disney entities and related project contractors and/or vendors
- Minimum of 7 years outside field experience in applicable site development (attractions, commercial, residential, retail, or resort development projects), or a minimum of 5 years WDI project field experience relevant to the area
- Strong organization and tracking skills while leading large projects
- Proficiencies in MS Office and project software including BIM 360 Field/Glue/Docs, Bluebeam, etc.
- Experience in Civil, MEP, or General Construction
- Platforms and Software including Smartsheets, Egnyte, P6 Scheduling, AutoCAD, Revit, Netpoint, Touch Plan, etc.
- 2 years of undergraduate schooling in construction or related fields is preferred
- Preferred certifications include OSHA 30 and AED/CPR
