Role Description

The Dallas office of Walters Balido & Crain seeks an attorney specializing in construction defect and insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in construction litigation. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary. Our firm is dedicated to delivering the highest-quality legal services to our clients, handling all types of construction litigation and insurance defense cases. Our attorneys have extensive experience in the construction industry. Experience in Texas Dram Shop Law is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including motion practice, research, legal briefing, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Represent clients in court proceedings
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and contracts
  • Provide legal advice to clients
  • Participate in client meetings, case strategy sessions, and other activities

Qualifications:

  • Must be an active member of the Texas Bar
  • Must have strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience:

  • Construction Litigation: 8 years (Preferred)
  • Texas Dram Shop Law Experience is a plus

License/Certification:

  • TX Bar License (Required)
