• Supervise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Guide and coach employees, monitoring their safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Maintain employee timecards for verifying attendance, hours, and approving timecards.
• Oversee the safe use of equipment and ensure employees use the correct personal protective equipment.
• Ensure all firearm transactions and company transfers are administered promptly.
• Assist with work orders and run end-of-day production.
• Relay information from Quality & Engineering to your manager and co-workers in written form, email, or in person on any issues, changes, or questions.
• Ensure all quality checks, product assembly checks, and quality standards are maintained and followed.
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing employees on processes to ensure quality standards and productivity rates are met.
• Direct employees after each assignment to eliminate downtime.
• Cross-train in all areas within WMI.
• Evaluate material review board items and disposition to re-work or scrap.
• Evaluate and post all performance metrics daily in the WMI Daily Flash.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work area and manufacturing floor.

• At least 1 year of practical, relevant experience and training.
• Basic knowledge of firearms or mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate issues and expectations clearly.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Task-oriented and able to use time wisely.
• Ability to work well with all other departments.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

• Hours are Monday - Thursday from 4:00 pm - 2:30 am.
