Wan Bridge Group LLC is Hiring a HR Specialist - Benefits & Payroll Near Houston, TX

Job Summary:

As an HR Specialist, you will handle daily benefit and payroll coordination, address employee inquiries, coordinate offboarding processes, and support performance management. The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of employee records.
  • Coordinate and audit checklists for onboardings and offboarding.
  • Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payroll and benefits.
  • Oversee time-off requests, time tracking, and timecard audits.
  • Provide payroll support and assist with payroll processing.
  • Manage invoices and contracts, ensuring correct coding.
  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Conduct monthly audits to ensure benefit accuracy.
  • Create and maintain all HR Forms Library
  • Support performance management processes and assist with employee reviews.
  • Facilitate employee communication, new hires, birthdays and anniversaries

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits coordination
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • Proficiency with ADP systems preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, Adobe and generally tech savvy
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Maintain high level of attention to detail and organization with follow through
  • Knowledge of HR principles, processes, and best practices required
  • Strong communication skills to interact with all levels both internally and externally
  • Understanding of AI in HR is a plus
  • Real Estate, Property Management or Construction experience a plus

Essential Functions:

  • Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
